YOUNG people in Halton are being encouraged to use 'beer goggles' to warn of the dangers of alcohol.
The project is designed to help teenagers make positive choices around alcohol use.
The event is at CRMZ youth centre in Kingsway, Widnes, on Friday, July 11, from 5pm to 8pm.
It will include fun activities with an educational slant.
A food and drinks bar will serve milk shakes, fruit smoothies, pop corn and fruit.
Challenging and fun peer pressure games will encourage young people can wear a pair of glasses which has the effect of one's eyesight when under the influence of alcohol.
There will also be first aid demonstrations.
Young people can speak to staff on a specially adapted but to gain further information on substance misuse, smoking, sexual and emotional health and healthy eating.
The event is being organised by Young Addaction on behalf of Halton’s Children’s Trust and Halton Council as part of an on-going commitment to improve opportunities for all children and young people living in the borough.
