No-one hurt in four-vehicle collision on Runcorn
A FOUR-VEHICLE collision on the Runcorn Widnes bridge caused a tailback of traffic during the teatime rush hour last night.
Police have confirmed that no one was hurt.
The pile-up closed one lane of the Runcorn bound carriageway shortly after 5.10pm as emergency crews dealt with the incident.
Inspector Karen Jackson of Widnes neighbourhood policing unit said:”It was a four vehicle road traffic collision. There were no injuries. It was a bit of a shunt.”
