CAPTAIN Hook surprised shoppers when he turned up with his sword and crocodile in Runcorn.
Actor Pete Brindle, aged 30, will join more than 100 children from all over Halton on stage at The Brindley in a musical adaptation of Peter Pan.
Youngsters selected at auditions earlier this month will perform in two teams from Thursday, July 24 to Sunday, July 27.
This magical show has a unique blend of spectacle, adventure and high flying.
Wendy Darling and her brothers meet Peter Pan when he flies into their nursery one night as their bedtime stories of swordplay and the fearsome Captain Hook spring into life.
Peter Pan takes them by the hand and leads them to the jungles of Neverland.
There will be two shows each day at 1.30pm and 7pm.
