Firefighters tackled a kitchen fire in Runcorn
FIREFIGHTERS tackled a kitchen fire in Runcorn on Saturday.
The blaze broke out at a house in Silkstone Crescent shortly after 2pm on June 14.
A spokesman for Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service said: “A fire involving an electric kettle and a cooker was extinguished by firefighters using a handheld extinguisher.”
One appliance attended the incident.
