Appeal for information after car is torched in Runcorn
A CAR was torched in Widnes in the early hours of this morning.
The blaze had spread to a van when crews arrived in Waterloo Road shortly after 2.30am.
A spokesman for Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service said: "A hose reel jet was used to deal with the fire and help stop it spreading to another vehicle."
Anyone with information is urged to call Cheshire Police on 101 or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
