RUNCORN MP Graham Evans MP has hosted his third annual jobs and apprenticeship fair.
Music mogul Pete Waterman opened the event.
Weaver Vale MP Graham Evans said: "I was very pleased that hundreds of jobs seekers we able to join myself, Pete Waterman, and over 40 employers and training organisations.
"Music mogul Pete Waterman, helped me open the fair and was happy to meet with recruiters and job seekers, supporting the aims of the fair."
"Apprenticeships, entry level and advanced roles were all on offer across a huge range of sectors including construction, retail, engineering, healthcare and many more.
“National employers like the Army and PWC were recruiting alongside local employers like Roberts Bakery, Peel Port and 02.
“I was also very pleased that the fair was supported by Halton Council, Cheshire West and Chester Council and East Cheshire Council.
"Across Weaver Vale, the outlook for job seekers has never looked better, thanks to the lowest jobseekers rate (3.3%) since I became the Member of Parliament, an increasing number of apprenticeships and a robust, growing economy across the region and the country.”
The fair was held at Mid Cheshire College.
