HALTON is bracing itself for stormy weather tomorrow after the Met Office issued a yellow warning for most parts of Britain.
They have released a severe weather warning as storms are expected to hit Britain on Saturday, June 7, with heavy, thundery rain battering parts of England, Wales and southern Scotland.
The yellow warning means there is a moderate risk of some damage to infrastructure and local disruption.
Forecasters are advising the public to be aware of the potential for localised flooding due to the intensity of these storms, although at this stage the location of the heaviest rainfall is uncertain.
It adds that warm, humid air coming from France is expected to move northwards late on Friday increasing the likelihood of heavy showers.
