A WIDNES schoolgirl who made her acting debut in an Indiana Jones style adventure film has auditioned for Halton’s Got Talent.

Ella Busow, aged nine, got through to the final of last year’s competition.

She played the lead in ‘Sophie’s Fortune: The Treasure of Quetzalcoatl’ and has just been cast as Brigitta in a stage show of The Sound of Music in Wilmslow.

Ella, a pupil at Fairfield Primary School, sang ‘More Than Just A Spare’, an unknown song from Frozen that didn’t make Disney movie at the Halton’s Got Talent audition.

Her dad, Paul, of Foxley Heath, said: “She loves musical theatre and would like to make a career out of it.”

A record number of performers are competing for the £250 prize with the chance to take part in a professional studio session.

The final is at The Brindley on July 19.
