STREET theatre, art and dance are helping to capture the history of Runcorn.

An innovative project is inviting residents to reflect on the culture of the town and its hopes for the future.

Free workshops are being held throughout May and June with professional dance company Co3 Dance and performance poet Louise Fazacherley.

Organiser Sarah Gough, from Co3 Dance, said: “We are particularly interested in engaging adults and older people with stories to tell.

“You don’t need to have any experience to take part. We are looking for enthusiastic, open minded people with the ability to have fun.”

A performance from the new roots dance poetry project will be staged at The Brindley on Saturday, June 14, from 1pm to 3pm.

Anyone interested in getting involved can call Sarah Gough on 07932 744513 or e-mail sarah@co3dance.co.uk.

Admission to the performance is free. Please call Sarah to book your ticket.
