LOVING homes are desperately wanted for brothers and sisters or teenagers.

Halton Council is appealing to residents to help turn a difficult time into fun and laughter for children in care.

They are inviting people to consider fostering.

Chris Taylor of Halton Council, said: "Many of the children in our care have brothers and sisters and we’d love to be able to keep them together in the same family.

“Take the time to discover more about the support and rewards life as a foster carer can offer you.”

This year’s year's theme during foster care fortnight is 'now is the time to foster'. People living in Runcorn and Widnes are urged to make a difference and use life experience to help children grow up and achieve their full potential.

Nationally, there is a shortage of 10,000 foster carers.
