The Mayor of Halton, Clr Margaret Ratcliffe appeals for items for her charity tombola

A MOTORBIKE and scooter show is being held in Widnes.

It takes place on Sunday, June 1, from 10am to 4pm at the Select Stadium in Lowerhouse Lane.

Admission is free.

Halton Mayor Clr Margaret Ratcliffe will be holding a tombola stall to raise funds for her three chosen charities, The Canal Boat Adventure Project, Cancer Patient Support Fund at Halton Hospital and Halton Entertainment Art Regional Theatre School.

Clr Ratcliffe is appealing for donations of unwanted gifits, toys and bric-a-brac for her tombola and raffle.

Items can be dropped off at Municipal Building in Kingsway, Widnes, for the attention of Kay Sparks, or at Runcorn Town Hall, Heath Road for the attention of John Whittaker.

Items will be needed by Friday, May 30.
