RUNCORN supermarket customers have helped to fund a new football kit for pupils.
Asda shoppers raised £631 for St Berteline’s Primary School in Windmill Hill.
Dee Samuel, the store’s community life champion, said: “The children are absolutely thrilled. This money will kit all the kids out with a track suit and boots.
“It was lovely to meet the pupils.
“I would like to thank all our customers for their generosity in supporting this school.”
