A RUNCORN motorcyclist was attacked by a robber who then stole his motorbike.
The victim, a 20-year-old man, was sitting on his motorbike in Haddocks Wood with a 19-year-old girl when they were approached by a man.
He repeatedly asked to ride the motorbike but was refused.
He then suddenly elbowed the victim in the face, forcibly stole the bike and rode off towards Phoenix Park in Castlefields.
The victim suffered a thick lip.
DC Justin Jones who is investigating the incident said: “Detectives are appealing for information relating to this incident. We would like to speak to anyone who may have been in the area at the time of the offence and also anyone who may have information as to the whereabouts of the motorbike.”
The incident happened at 2.10pm on Friday, May 9.
The robber is described as a white male, in his early 20s, 6ft 1in with brown short hair and stocky build. He was wearing a blue track suit.
The Quadrizilia 125cc pit bike was orange with the number 2 on both rear sides of the back of the bike.
