THIS picture was captured by World reader Bill Griffiths from Littlebourne, Runcorn.
He said: “This image was taken on Saturday, May 9, at Norton Crossing, Daresbury. It shows steam engines 44871 and 45407. “The Lancashire Fusilier was pulling the Highlands and Islands Explorer from Crewe to Appleby on the second day of a nine day journey.”
