Thousands of perfume bottles stolen in lorry raid

POLICE are appealing for information after a lorry carrying more than 12,000 bottles of perfume was stolen from Runcorn and dumped in Warrington.

Officers at Cheshire Police say the van was stolen from the Whitehouse Industrial Estate at 1.15am today, Tuesday.

It contained 7500 bottles of 30ml Hidden Fantasy perfume; 2000 bottles of 75ml Splendor perfume; and 3000 bottles of 100ml Sunflower perfume.

The vehicles was found abandoned on Grappenhall Lane, Appleton, at 6.06am today. All of the perfume was missing.

Anyone with information, or who is offered any perfume to buy, can call police on 101.

Probably realised it was Kerry Katonas perfume and then realised it would be worth the same as vinegar so dumped the lot!
