Halton's biggest community allotment stages plant sale
HALTON’S biggest community allotment is holding a plant sale and family fun day on Sunday, May 11 from 11am to 4pm.
Proceeds raised by Haddocks Wood Allotment Association in Warrington Road, Runcorn will be donated to charity.
Perennials, annuals, compost, grow bags, fertiliser and bird tables will be among items for sale.
A barbecue will provide freshly cooked food and there will be a bouncy castle for children.
The site has 101 plots with one tended by patients from the Brooker Centre.
