Police appeal after arson attacks across Runcorn

POLICE are appealing for information after a spate of arson attacks across Runcorn.

Vandals torched scrap in Brindley Road, Astmoor, shortly before 7pm on Tuesday, April 29.

Firefighters tackled another rubbish fire in Stockham Lane half an hour earlier.

Crews used hand held extinguishers to put out burning rubbish in Highlands Road at around 10am on Saturday, April 26.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Cheshire Police on 101 or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
