IDENTICAL twins have inspired their Widnes mum to embark on a new career.

Zoe Parry returned to her job after maternity leave and was made redundant six months later.

She had worked in the pawnbroker business for 20 years.

Zoe, aged 38, of Bidleston Close, said: “I really struggled to find a job that fitted around the children as well being able to afford high childcare costs. I have no family close by.”

Zoe decided to set up her own online business from home, Little Uns Clothing, incorporating her two-year-old daughters, Lily and Daisy as flowers on her logo.

She uses three British designers.

She said: “My daughters are my inspiration and they are my models.

“There has been an increase in multiple births in Widnes and not every mum wants to dress twins in the same clothes.

“People assume because they look identical that they are the same. My girls are totally unique. Daisy is very lively and confident. Lily assesses everything and is quiet.

“We offer the same style in different colours or designs.”

Zoe who is married to Dave, aged 43, and has a five-year-old son, Stan, said she received training and support from Halton Chamber of Commerce and Enterprise.

She added: “I couldn’t have done it without them. They’ve been unbelievable. Through networking events, I’ve met people who have helped me.

“My ultimate aim is to open a shop in Widnes and hopefully, create jobs.

“I hope my story inspires other mums to believe that their goals and aspirations can still be achieved whilst bringing up children and running a family.”
