Cheshire Constabulary is to recruit two people onto the national Constable to Inspector Fast Track programme starting in September 2014.
The Fast Track programme is an accelerated three-year promotion and development programme which equips the most talented people with the skills, knowledge and experience to advance to the rank of inspector within three years.
All applicants will need to ensure they meet Cheshire Constabulary′s eligibility criteria of having a 2:1 degree, or in certain circumstances a 2:2 degree, to apply for the programme and to become a police officer.
They will also need to demonstrate the potential to reach the senior levels of the service within their career.
A familiarisation event is being held on Monday, April 28, 2014 at 6pm at Police Headquarters in Winsford.
The applications process opens on Monday, April 28, 2014 and closes on Sunday 11 May 2014. Cheshire Constabulary will only accept applications received between these dates.
Further information about booking a place at this event, the scheme and how to apply can be found on the Cheshire Police website cheshire.police.uk and the College of Policing website at college.police.uk.
