KEEP fit enthusiasts have been donating Easter eggs in exchange for a free day pass at a Runcorn gym.
Staff at PureGym in Thomas Jones Way will give all the chocolate gifts to The Children’s Society for underprivileged youngsters in the town.
Gym manager Caroline Johnson, aged 41, said: “We have had a great response. We would like to thank everyone who has donated Easter eggs.
“We are really busy here. It’s absolutely booming. We run more than 70 classes.”
Eggs can be donated any day from 8am to 8pm until Tuesday, April 22.
Puregym has 16 staff and has attracted more than 5,000 members since it opened at the end of January.
A fundraising event is being held on Friday, April 25, from 9am to 12 noon in aid of breast cancer.
Staff will be wearing pink at a special masterclass and selling pink fairy cakes.
