POLICE today appealed for information after four incidents of indecent exposure in Widnes on the same day.

A man exposed himself outside a business premises on Widnes Road, in Victoria Park, Birchfield Avenue and in Shakespeare Road at the crossroad with Tennyson Road.

The incidents happened between 6am and 8am on Friday, April 11.

A fourth took place on Crow Wood Lane at around 1.15pm.

The man is described as wearing white shorts with a black top. Officers believe this may be the same person responsible for the earlier incidents.

The man did not attempt to touch any of the victims.

Sergeant Keith Logan, of Widnes Neighbourhood Policing Unit, said: "We are appealing for anyone who witnessed the incidents or who was in the area at the time and witnessed anyone acting suspiciously to please get in touch.”

The man is described as white and in his mid 20s. He had short dark hair, a slim build and was wearing dark clothes. He had paint splatters over his clothing.
