Investigation after arson attack on Runcorn takeaway
POLICE and firefighters are investigating an early morning arson attack on a Runcorn takeaway.
A fire broke out at the Dolphin Supper Bar in Halton Road at 12.33pm today.
Two crews, one from Runcorn and one from Widnes, attended the incident.
A spokesman for Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service said: “The fire was out on arrival and believed to be a result of arson. A joint investigation with police is now underway and anyone with any information is urged to call the police.”
