A MUM in a million has been pampered as a special thank you from her daughter.
Lynsey O’Callaghan nominated her mum, Lorraine, for helping her after her premature baby was born with a birth defect.
Tiny Joshua O’Callaghan, from Widnes. arrived five weeks early with his bowel on the outside of his body.
He is now on the road to recovery after three major ops.
Lynsey, aged 26, of Mayfield Avenue, said: “My mum was there for me throughout it all. She was fantastic.”
Lorraine won a makeover, back massage and manicure, after winning a Mother’s Day competition organised by Widnes hair stylist Neil Anthony and beautician Elizabeth Mitchelle.
Mum-of-three Lorraine, aged 56, of Hanley Road, a customer service adviser at Home Base, said: “It was so traumatic to see Lynsey go through such heartbreak. Thankfully, Joshua is a little fighter and has made a remarkable recovery.”
