A TEENAGE girl has been attacked by three youths in Runcorn.
The 19-year-old was sitting under a footbridge when two girls scratched her arms and face and a boy pushed her against a wall.
The victim suffered minor bruises and scratches.
The assault happened between 1.30pm and 2pm on Friday, March 14 under a footbridge in Castlefields, which leads from Greenbridge Close to Hedge Hey.
None of the attackers, aged 14 to 16, said anything to the victim.
PC Paul Scott said: “The victim suffered minor bruises and scratches but thankfully didn’t require hospital treatment.
“I would urge anyone with information to contact me in order to progress the inquiries.”
