FUN-FILLED activities raised thousands of pounds for Sport Relief across Halton.
Children at St Mary’s CE Primary School in Castlefields, Runcorn had a bake off and collected £500.
Students and staff at Riverside College raised more than £800 from a day packed with sporting challenges.
Cronton Sixth Form College staged a spinathon, inflatable jousting, raffles and sold cakes.
Students at the Kingsway campus were challenged to sit on a rodeo bull.
Pamela Crane posted on Facebook: “I lasted 26 seconds. Thighs are killing me.”
There was also a tug of war and table tennis competitions.
Morrisons staff held a non uniform day and hosted a charity quiz at Widnes RAOB club, offering a selection of sports memorabilia as prizes.
