A RUNCORN mum was robbed by a mugger as she pushed her baby in a pram.
The 29-year-old victim was approached by a man on a mountain bike who pushed her in the back and snatched her handbag, causing her to stumble.
Luckily, neither the woman nor her 11-month-old baby were harmed during the incident.
Detectives today appealed for information.
The assault happened as she was walking along the bus lane near Rothesay Close in Castlefields, Runcorn.
The offender is described as a white male, in his late 20’s, 6ft tall, and of a slim build. He was wearing a black jacket, jeans and riding a black mountain bike with an orange bottle holder.
The woman’s bag is described as a small black leather hand bag with a large silver buckle on the front.
It contained a bus pass, loose change and a Samsung Mobile phone which contained sentimental family digital photographs.
The incident happened at 2.30pm on Friday, March 21.
