TWO Halton pubs will be serving 10 beers from around the world during a 17-day festival.

The Premier in Albert Road and The Ferry Boat in Church Street will complement the celebration with 15 beers from across the UK.

The festival runs from Friday, March 28 to Sunday, April 13, with all beers priced at £1.95 a pint.

The festival will feature new, seasonal and speciality beers, including a hazy wheat beer, a chocolate beer, a raspberry beer, a lemon beer, a juniper beer and a plum porter.

Many of the beers are available in the pub for the first time, having been brewed exclusively for the festival.

Customers will be able to sample any three of the real ales in special third of a pint glasses for the price of a pint.

Michelle Fryer, manager of The Premier said: "We are thrilled to be serving such a fantastic selection of beers from across the world as well as those brewed in the UK.”

Kate Webster, manager of The Ferry Boat, added: "The overseas beers have never previously been available as cask ales in the UK, which makes them even more special.”
