THE abdication of Edward VIII and succession of King George Vl has inspired an imaginative stage show.

Former dancer and choreographer with the English National Ballet, Kate Simmons has choreographed a ballet performance around the historic milestone.

With music from young composer Adam Kornas, graduating ballet students, aged 16 to 21, will take centre stage to put on a show-stopping routine.

The gifted youngsters from KS Dance in Woolston, Warrington, will be staging their show from April 11 to 13th at 7.30pm at the Brindley Theatre in Runcorn.
