A RUNCORN mum is swapping the catwalk for the website as she launches her own online fashion business.

Stacey Dutton has been modelling for six years and has always dreamed of having her own boutique.

She developed a passion for vintage clothes whilst studying for an honours degree in tourism and leisure management at Liverpool John Moores University.

Stacey, aged 26, of Woodall Drive, who has a 17-month-old son, Tyler, said: “I’ve worked with fantastic photographers and models since I was 19.

“For the last four years I’ve dreamed of opening my own own online shop. While living in a striving city of diversity, and being adventurous with different garments, it was a joy to play with outfits whilst I was studying.

“Now that I have my little boy, the decision to go for it has been easier to make.

“What better excuse to do it and make a better life for me and my boy for the future.”

Former Heath pupil, Stacey stocks clothes from the 1960s, 1970s and 1980s and hopes to organise vintage parties and become a personal stylist.

Her merchandise includes jackets, dresses, skirts, jumpers, shirts and accessories.

She added: “I want to do outfits rather than sell items on their own and help people to create an image.

“I am quite excited. I’ve got so much stock waiting to come in.

“If I get a lot of sales in the next six months, I’m hoping to take people on and perhaps open a unit or a shop.”
