HALTON Haven is launching its first ever TV advert.

It has teamed up with 26 hospices across the north west for a pioneering Granada TV campaign to raise awareness and boost funds.

The first 30 second broadcast will be on Monday, March 10 and on online.

There will be 30 broadcasts over three weeks, including commercial breaks in Coronation Street and Emmerdale.

Hospice head of fundraising Paula Widdas said: “The televised awareness campaign is the first of what we hope will be many collaborative partnerships across the north west hospice community.

“It will be a great opportunity to change misconceptions regarding hospices environments and show that hospices have an enjoyable atmosphere.

“By working together to share the cost of the campaign between the hospices, we are able to reach out to a wider audience than ever before in a very affordable way.”

Money raised from the campaign will be shared equally amongst the participating hospices which viewers will be able to identify from the relevant hospices logos that appear within the advert.

Halton Haven Hospice would like to encourage everyone within the local community to view the advert and give generously and indeed generate conversation around the advert with friends and family and on social media sites in order to establish a successful first collaborative campaign for all North West hospices involved in the initiative.
