A HALTON landlord is encouraging Runcorn neighbours to ‘Love Where you Live’.

Social landlord Riverside is backing Keep Britain Tidy and kicking off its campaign with a Big Tidy Up in Palacefields woods on Friday, March 14.

Pupils from Palacefields Primary Academy will be joining the litter pick with housing and council staff and local police officers.

Laura Woodward, Riverside’s communal areas officer for Halton. She said: “We are working with our grounds maintenance contractor, Assist, to manage the amount of fly-tipping, littering and dog fouling on the Palacefields estate.

“But we also want people to take responsibility and pride in their own neighbourhoods. This event is a great way to spread the word, especially with youngsters in the area, who we hope will encourage their families to love where they live.”

Anyone wishing to join the tidy up can call Laura Woodward on 0345 111 0000 or meet at Palacefields Primary Academy, Rawdon Close at 1.30pm on Friday, March 14.
