ENERGETIC fundraisers hauled a door 3,569 feet to the top of Mount Snowdon and raised £5,000 for two charities.
It was the latest challenge tackled by staff at Fairview Windows in Ditton Road, Widnes.
Employees have pledged to support BBC Children in Need and Winston’s Wishes.
Managing director David Jones said: “Each year we put a massive effort into one or two events.
“Through sheer determination and massive effort, we have collectively raised more than £5,000.
“The money that we have raised will enable us to support even more bereaved families and their families in the north west, enabling them to face the future with confidence and hope.
“It’s a very sad fact that every 22 minutes a child in Britain is bereaved of a parent. Winston’s Wish is a much needed charity to support these children.”
