Widnes firefighters called to cool the overheated brakes of a lorry
A LORRY driver called firefighters after his brakes overheated.
Crews tended to his vehicle in Bennetts Lane, Halton View.
Firefighters cooled the brakes with two hose reel jets and used a thermal imaging camera to check for fire and hotspots.
The incident happened on Saturday, February 8, at 7.20am.
