THE hunt is on for the longest married couple in Widnes.
Asda wants to find the town’s husband and wife who have celebrated the most years together.
Widnes store manager Susanne Corrin said:“Valentine’s Day is the most romantic day of the year, so we thought what better way to celebrate this than by treating a long standing local couple to a special gift.
“We’re appealing to married couples in the community who are celebrating many happy years together to come forward and bring a copy of their marriage certificates to the store next time they are in doing their shopping.”
The winning couple will receive flowers and champagne.
Couples are invited to take a photocopy of their marriage certificate to the customer services desk at the store before Friday, February 14. Don’t forget to include your name and contact details.
