HALTON tenants are being asked for their views on proposed amendments to the way rented homes are being offered.

Changes are being made to the Property Pool Plus housing allocations scheme, set up by Halton Council, with Knowsley, Liverpool, Sefton and Wirral in 2012.

It allows residents to choose properties from a shared pool.

Now, various new regulations mean that the policy needs to be modified.

An online survey seeks the views of people renting homes in Widnes and Runcorn on those changes The survey, and a draft version of the policy, are available at propertypoolplus.org.uk

Responses to the survey will be reported to the executive boards of each council when they consider whether or not to approve the changes.

The survey closes on April 6, 2014.
