Our pet of the week has a lot to shout about. Julie Wood, from Widnes, posted this photograph of 10-month-old Lulu on our Facebook page.

She said: “Lulu is doing really well in her new home, thank you to Jackie from Kitten Carers St Helens who does an amazing job rescuing cats and kittens.

“She was very frightened at first but is now eating, playing and purring.”
