TOTS enjoyed an exciting adventure at Windmill Hill Nursery in Runcorn to help disabled children.
Pupils and staff dressed up as princesses and pirates for a fun-filled charity event.
They raised more than £40 for Crackerjacks Children’s Trust, which helps children with severe disability, by providing support, respite care and specialist equipment.
Angela Wheatcroft, deputy manager of Windmill Hill Nursery in Norton Hill, said: “We wanted to do something to support the wonderful work that this charity does.
“Our children absolutely loved it. We told them that the pirates had taken all the treasure and the princesses had to hunt to find their jewellery and coins, hidden in little treasure chests.
“They had a party afterwards. It was a lovely day.”
Nine staff look after 52 children a day in morning and afternoon sessions.
