POLICE today issued CCTV stills of a man they want to speak to in connection with burglaries at two Widnes schools.
Laptops were stolen from Bankfield and Wade Deacon High Schools in two separate break-ins.
The first incident took place at around 5pm on Tuesday, November 19, at Bankfield High School in Liverpool Road when a laptop was taken.
The second theft happened on Wednesday, December 4, at 4.30pm at Wade Deacon School in Birchfield Road when a number of laptops were stolen.
Widnes Neighbourhood Policing Unit is investigating both incidents and a number of enquiries have been carried out in the local area.
Officers are now appealing for anyone who has any information in relation to the incidents to come forward.
They are also keen to hear from anyone who may have any information regarding the whereabouts of the stolen items.
Anyone with any information is urged to call Cheshire Police on 101. Information can also be passed on anonymously, via Crimestoppers, on 0800 555 111.
