HALTON toy library has all sorts of games, puppets and equipment for families and playgroups to hire.

This community project charges only £1 a fortnight for any item, big or small.

Hale mum-of-two Joyce Reilly, aged 50, the toy library worker, said: "Our large soft play slide and steps is due back from long term loan. This set is suitable for a school, nursery or toddler group setting. Three months hire is just £6!”

The library is in Mersey Road, Runcorn, and has lots of big toys for outside use and parties.
