Urgent lane closure likely to cause tailbacks today in Runcorn
Urgent carriageway repairs mean that the A56 Daresbury Bypass in Runcorn will shortly have one lane closed.
The closure will be between the A558 and M56 Junction 11, which will affect traffic travelling towards the M56.
Unfortunately the lane closure will be in place during the evening peak period.
Halton Council apologises for any inconvenience caused.
