Barry Horabin inside St Luke's during restoration work
A HISTORICAL walk round the picturesque village of Farnworth is being offered by a local historian.
Barry Horabin is offering to show people round the area which is steeped in history.
He is also offering to guide visitors round the 12th century church and bride well of St Luke's. Mr Horabin is also a church warden.
The tour takes place on Wednesday, January 15, starting at 11.30am.
People are invited to meet at The Ring O Bells pub in Pit Lane at 11.30am.
The tour lasts approximately one hour and will be followed by afternoon tea or lunch at the pub plus a question and answer sessions.
