TWO sisters gave up their jobs to launch their own jewellery business.

Now, they have taken another gamble and opened a shop, K5 Accessories, in Albert Road, Widnes.

Rosanna Marr, aged 24, and her 28-year-old sister, Amy, were so successful at Widnes Market, they doubled the size of their stall.

Rosanna quit a marketing career and Amy left her classroom assistant job to follow their dream in 2012.

Rosanna, of Birchfield Road, said: “It’s a lot scarier this time. We have more business rates to pay and a lot more rent.

“Everything is so much more expensive but we’ve always wanted to run our own business.”

The girls live at home with their parents, Edward and Alice, and say they couldn’t have succeeded withour their support.

Rosanna added: “We’ve managed to slowly build up our stock without borrowing any money. We hardly had any savings but we haven’t got into any debt.

“Everyone at the market was absolutely brilliant and gave us a lot of advice.

“We make our shop personal and try to be different.

“We’d like to thank all our customers who have supported us in this venture.”
