A CHARITY market raised hundreds of pounds to feed needy families over Christmas.
Widnes Market traders teamed up with Halton Council and Morrisons to donate rent from the event to Widnes Foodbank.
Market trader Debbie Hankin, who runs a sweet stall, said: “We do a lot of work throughout the year that goes unrecognised for local charities and raising awareness.”
