LOOKING to try something new for 2014?

Free Nordic walking sessions are being launched in Widnes and Runcorn.

Nordic walking instructor Elizabeth Kerley said: “It’s suitable for all ages and fitness levels, simple to learn and really sociable.

“It is specially designed poles reduce the pressure on the knees and joints and the gentle upper body movement is great for easing back and neck pain too.”

These sessions are great for building confidence and health. Sessions start at Victoria Park, Widneson January 6 from 11.30am to 12.30pm and Runcorn Hill on Friday, January 10 from 11am to 12 noon.
