GIFTED children are discovering hidden talents, thanks to an innovative project.
Music teacher Gillian Deans, a governor at Farnworth CE Primary School in Pit Lane, Widnes has been sharing her skills with pupils.
She has been running a series of workshops.
Head teacher Jackie Stillings said: “The children absolutely love it.
“It enables them all to learn new skills, develop their confidence and work together as a team.
“We are very grateful to Gillian for giving up her time.”
Gillian has taught bell-ringing to year three pupils and showed a year six class how to play the drums and various percussion instruments.
The school hopes to develop more workshops in 2014.
