HealthReward Community Interest Company (CIC) has raised £618,000, through The Health Lottery, for health-related good causes in Chester, Halton, Warrington and Cheshire.
Organisations including Green Spaces, Lache Park and Crewe & Nantwich Senior Forum are among those in the area that have received funding from People’s Health Trust, the charity responsible for the distribution of the money locally.
The next HealthReward CIC society lottery draw will be held on Saturday, 14 December, when once again funds raised will help charities and not-for-profit organisations in Chester, Halton, Warrington and Cheshire.
Chris Lunn, director of HealthReward CIC, said: “The projects supported using money raised by HealthReward CIC are extremely valuable to a wide range of individuals, we look forward to hearing more about how these initiatives are enabling people to live longer healthier lives.”
Dominic Mansour, CEO of The Health Lottery, said: “We are committed to raising money for good causes throughout England, Scotland and Wales. Buying a Health Lottery ticket not only gives players the chance to win up to £100,000 but also the chance to support their local community.”
