A MUM who loves Christmas has turned her Runcorn home into a sparkling winter wonderland to pay for children’s parties.

Kerry Barlow’s giant snowmen, Santa, polar bear and reindeer are lit up with an incredible 22,261 bulbs!

She started putting up the decorations with a friend on November 1 and has already raised £180 for Hallwood Park School and Nursery.

Kerry, aged 29, of King James Court, Hallwood Park, said: “It makes me dead happy. My little girl loves it.

“Loads of people come in their cars to have a good nosey.”

Head teacher Susan Humphries said: “It’s a fantastic idea and an amazing thing to do for the school. We’d like to thank Kerry.

“We’ll spend the money on children’s parties and take them to the Brindley panto.”

Kerry attended the school, where her four-year-old daughter, Meika is a pupil.

She has a bucket outside her home to collect donations.
