The bridge this afternoon
THE Runcorn Widnes bridge is closed to high sided vehicles due to gale force winds.
Juggernauts will not be allowed between A557 Weston Point Expressway and A557 Queensway.
All motorists are urged to take extra care as the met office has issued a severe weather warning for Halton.
Gales of between 60mph and 70mph are expected.
