IMAGINATIVE Runcorn children have brought India to life in their classroom.
Year five and six pupils at Victoria Road Primary School have created life-size 3D sculptures of baby elephants.
The children spent two days working with an artist in residence, Sarah Gallagher-Heyes.
They painted one in various shades of pink and another in warm golden tones.
Head teacher Sue Taylor said: “Pupils are doing a topic on India and took inspiration from the lambananas.
“They used two different media, willow and paper and lots of parcel tape.
“The children and staff had an elephantastic day.”
They are planning to exhibit their baby elephants at various venues.
One has already made a home at their outdoor classroom in Queens Close.
