CHILDREN at Farnworth CE Primary School in Pit Lane donated their harvest gifts to Widnes Foodbank for the second year running.
They held a harvest service at St Luke’s Church on Monday.
Head teacher Jackie Stillings said: “One of our school values is generosity.
“The children have formulated their own school rules based on these values, ‘when someone needs help, be there for them’.
“As a school we feel that we can live this value by donating to our local foodbank so that when someone does need help in times of crisis, we are there for them.”
